Mindfulness and practical techniques for employees and teams
The Yoga Therapy for the Mind 8 Week Course for Stress Management
Building Resilience, Self-Regulation & Sustainable Wellbeing
Overview
Drawing on established principles from yoga therapy and mindfulness, the programme explores the relationship between the body, breath, thoughts and emotions. Participants learn simple, practical techniques that can be integrated into everyday life to support greater calm, focus, self-awareness and adaptability.
Rather than focusing solely on reducing stress, the programme develops the capacity to respond to challenge with greater awareness and choice.
The physical practice uses movement and postures to explore effort, rest and physical sensation, while breathwork develops more functional breathing patterns, both physical practice and breathwork designed to support the ability to shift between activation and relaxation.
Through learning to stay present with a variety of physical sensations, participants develop greater tolerance for discomfort and uncertainty. Over time, this can translate into a greater capacity to meet challenging emotions, pressure and difficult situations with steadiness and self-awareness.
The aim is not to eliminate stress, but to develop the skills and awareness needed to navigate pressure more effectively while maintaining a sense of balance and connection.

Week 4 — Grounding
